Gap of Dunloe Engagement Session | Ireland

We were so stoked to get to capture Clay and Elise's engagements in Ireland. What started with a surprise proposal at the iconic Cliffs of Moher (which you can check out here) turned into a surprise engagement session the next day at the Gap of Dunloe and a windswept beach near Dingle.

Our familiarity with Ireland helped Clay choose the Gap of Dunloe for their engagement session. It wasn't just about the stunning views but also a personal connection with the location, ensuring a blend of natural beauty and emotional significance. I spent last year exploring Ireland and this spot really stuck out to me.

Irish weather threw us a curveball with rain and wind. This was without a doubt the harshest conditions we had ever shot in. We always encourage our couples to embrace the weather - but this was a whole new level. Unfazed, Clay and Elise took it in stride, running around, laughing, and dancing in the rain. The result? A collection of images with an energy so infectious, you can feel the carefree joy through the lens. Clay and Elise's readiness to embrace the elements made the session a testament to their adventurous spirits. I love these photos so so much because every time I look at them, I truly feel what it was like to be there in that moment.

Ireland, with its moody skies and untamed landscapes, became the perfect canvas for a celebration of love and spontaneity. The energy in these photos mirrors the genuine spirit of a couple willing to dance in the rain, and we feel privileged to have been part of their adventure-soaked Irish journey.
