Hello! I am so excited you found our page. My name is Kinslie and I work as the day of coordinator over here at Mark + Jenna. I started helping out a few years ago here and there and discovered a passion working weddings.
I believe a day of coordinator is so important to have because my ultimate goal is to take away any and all stress from you and your family! I help make sure the day runs smoothly and that Mark and Jenna stay on schedule. I try to go above and beyond for my brides because your wedding day is all about you and your groom saying I do! My job is to make sure you have the most special, smooth wedding day. I can help you create a timeline that includes everything you want during the day.
From setting up the ceremony and reception sites to putting socks and shoes on your feet for dancing - I truly love providing any service that can make your day go on without a hitch!
What is a coordinator?
I get this question a lot! Basically, I’m your go-to gal for the entire day. I’m there to make sure everything goes according to your schedule, set up, make sure you eat, and bring you anything you need. I’ll even help you make the schedule in the months before the wedding! A lot of times, brides will plan just to have a family member coordinate - but if I’m handling the coordination, they can relax and enjoy being a guest!
Do I have to pay extra to get your coordination services?
It depends on the package you are booking. For some, my services are included and you do not have to pay extra! However, if you are booking a package that doesn’t include my services already, you can pay an extra fee and I’ll tag along!
Will you help me pay my vendors?
Yes! If you haven’t already paid them and are planning to pay anyone the day of, I can make sure they get paid. A lot of couples will give me envelopes with any final payments or tips, and I make sure they get paid the correct amount.
Is there anything you don’t do?
There are a couple of things that I don’t do on your wedding day, but not very many. I don’t help with cleaning up, so you need to make sure you have arrangements with your venue for that. The only other thing I don’t do on the day of is cut the cake, or refresh drinks! But I can certainly help you assign or find people for those jobs!
Do you help with setting up the ceremony and reception site?
YES! I love to help with any set up needed, that way you can relax in the bridal/groom's suite. I’ll make sure I know how you want everything to look, and then I can help make sure your vision is executed. I love helping set up, and I will send the bride upstairs once I get there so I can take over for you.
